About the vacancy:
Sinovoltaics Group is hiring an IT Consultant in charge of reviewing and advising on further development and integration options of the company’s IT roadmap, tools and platforms. Strong focus is on ensuring the integrity, inter-operability and data security of the used systems which involve different departments, such as Finance, HR, Service Operations and Data. The role of the IT Consultant is designed to serve as a company’s ”Wizard” who makes the impossible – possible, with the use of the technology and the benefits it offers.
This role is designed as a part time position which can evolve into a full time role over time.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior management to review the company’s IT systems development and align them with the company’s objectives.
- Develop an IT roadmap/ strategy for the integration and inter-operability between the different system where applicable.
- Suggest and layout roadmap for improvements of existing systems and platforms where possible.
- Develop, implement and enforce company’s IT security policies and procedures to protect the company against cybersecurity threats and system downtime.
- Maintain security of company data, network access, and backup systems.
- Perform regular system audits and conduct cost-benefit analysis when proposing system upgrades and migrations according to company’s needs and industry trends.
Professional Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in the IT industry
- Minimum of 3 years of working as an IT Manager or holding role at the equivalent rank.
- Proven record of IT operations and IT management – related projects.
- Background in cybersecurity/ data security.
- Professional experience in the Solar PV and BESS industry is considered as an added-value.
Qualifications and Competencies:
- BA or higher education in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- Native or fluent English.
- Vast experience in leading IT projects and implementing IT strategies across various technologies.
- Strong background in data storage and cybersecurity.
- Excellent knowledge of networks, security, computer systems, and database storage systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the use of technology.
- Team-work ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams by streamlining their operations.
- Accountable, dependable, strategic, detail-oriented and growth-driven personality that alerts the supervisor on (recurring) problems and deviations from the procedure, and comes up with proposals to improve existing rules and practices.
