Battery manufacturers often present cycling graphs that look promising — smooth curves, high retention, and long lifetimes. But in many cases, these are generated from simulated data or based on standardized “ideal” test conditions that don’t reflect the real world.

In short: cycling graphs alone are not enough to guarantee reliability. Real-world conditions — high/low temperature, overcharge, short circuit, thermal runaway — need to be simulated and tested in a controlled lab environment.
