About the vacancy:
The HR Coordinator will play a key role in strengthening the Human Resources department by focusing on various HR functions, including staff onboarding, payroll administration, benefits management, engagement and compliance. This individual will be working closely with the HR Manager and the board to roll out HR strategies that align with company’s goals and continuously improve HR processes. You will collaborate with staff, managers, executives and external agents (EOR, legal, compliance and payroll partners) to foster a positive work environment and enhance company culture. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a passion for creating a workplace where employees can thrive and contribute to the company’s success.

Responsibilities:
• Work with the board and the HR Manager to roll out the overall HR strategy, align HR practices with the company's goals and objectives, and scaling-up of HR policies and processes as the company grows.
• Coordiante recruitment processes, including drafting and posting Job Descriptions, working closely with the Senior Recruiter, screening resumes and scheduling interviews when assigned.
• Facilitate staff onboarding, oreintation, retention, offboarding and turnover processes.
• Coordinate payrolls, benefits and premiums with EORs and local payroll partners.
• Maintain the staff Directory, PTO registry, and update the staff filing records.
• Strengthen company culture and employer branding by organizing engagement, team-building and core-value training programs (via orientation calls and workshops).
• Help ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies, keeping up-to-date with relevant regulations.
• Support research activities on industry rate-range and trends to secure competitiveness of the company at specific markets and industry in general.
• Support research activities on most optimal cost-value EOR and local payroll partners, and negotiate quotas to ensure their cost-efficiency.
• Assist with performance management, employee evaluations, and talent development initiatives.
• Draft strategic documents (HR policies, handbook, scorecards, booklets, organogram, workflows).
• Work closely with Finance on endorsing labor expenses, comply with internal payment methods of labor expenses and local labor practices.
• Work with leadership to define the overall HR strategy, align HR practices with the company's goals and objectives, and scaling-up of HR policies and processes as the company grows
Qualifications and Competencies:
• Experience: 3+ years in a similar HR role.
• Education: BA or higher in relatable field (HR, Business Administration, Management, etc.)
• People-focused mindset: Passion for employee experience, company culture, and engagement.
• Communication skills: Ability to communicate and interact effectively at all levels, with advanced or native proficiency in English.
• Organizational skills: Ability to manage multiple HR processes, prioritize tasks, and maintain structured records.
• Problem-solving skills: Proactively identify HR challenges and implement effective solutions.
• Technical skills: strong knowledge in HR, especially in labour compliance, payrolls, performance management and talent development processes.
• Analytical skills: Ability to research, collect, interpret, and evaluate data to make informed decisions and solve problems effectively.
• Adaptability: Ability to work in a dynamic scale-up environment and support a growing organization.
• IT skills: Experience working with HR systems, AI, HR software and tools to streamline processes.
• Teamwork skills: Ability to collaborate with internal and external agents.
