About The Vacancy:
Sinovoltaics is on the look for a highly meticulous PV and BESS Auditor/inspector to join our team in USA. The role involves auditing PV and BESS installations to ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements as well as PV and BESS inspections at the manufacturer. The ideal candidate will assess USA-based solar panel and BESS systems as well as solar panel and BESS manufacturers.

Responsibilities:

• Factory Audits: Conduct thorough PV and BESS factory audits to ensure that activities are carried out in accordance with standards (procedures or specifications) or SOPs.

Factory inspections: Conduct PV and BESS inspections during the production before shipment to ensure that all components meet the agreed technical requirements.

Site Acceptance Testing: Examine PV and BESS instalments, their operational conditions and performances to verify they meet the applicable specifications and are functioning properly.

Safety Checks: Ensure all installations comply with the safety codes, to identify and address safety hazards.

Performance Evaluation: Assess the performance of installed solar panels, BESS, checking for any signs of wear, damage, or inefficiency. Monitor and test the systems to ensure peak operational performance, with accent on microcracks. Ensure that products meet the required technical standards and performance benchmarks.

Documentation: Responsible for recording inspection data and results, including daily reports, inspection photos, inspection raw data, EL images, test results and written reports, and submit them to the project manager.

Compliance Verification: Ensure that product certificates, manufacturer system certificates, and other certificates required by customers meet customer and local government requirements.

Maintenance Reviews: Responsible for equipment maintenance, period verification, capability verification and comparison, and monitoring to ensure the quality of inspection results.

Qualifications and Competencies: 

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in electrical engineering, renewable energy, or related fields.

Experience: At least 2 years of experience in PV / BESS audits, inspections, or electrical system assessment.

Language: Fluent in English, a second language is a plus

Certifications: Certification in solar inspection or related fields (e.g., NABCEP, PV Installation Professional) is considered as an added value.

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of solar power systems, including electrical and structural components, and experience with photovoltaic (PV & BESS) technology.

Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail to identify installation issues, potential hazards, and areas of non-compliance.

Communication Skills and Discretion: Clear written and verbal communication skills to report on findings and convey them with confidentiality.

Knowledge of Codes and Standards: Familiarity with relevant industry standards, including but not limited to ISO standards. 

Accountability: You must be independent to thrive in an autonomous role and demonstrate a high level of self-discipline and responsibility.
