Sinovoltaics Group is hiring a PV Specialist serving as a key consultant, responsible for providing technical expertise and support throughout the pre-sales and post-sales processes for photovoltaic (PV) products. This role involves managing technical documentation, conducting product testing and certification reviews, supporting customers and sales teams, and ensuring compliance with international standards and market requirements.

Your Job Described:

  • Gather and analyze customer and market feedback from a pre-sales technical perspective to understand market trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge ofIEC standards and global reliability testing proceduresto select and confirm appropriate inspection methods and certifications (IEC 61215, IEC 61730, UVID, LID, LeTID and similar tests).
  • Provide expert technical support throughout calls with clients, resolving complex product performance issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct and participate in monthly technical training sessions and company seminars to enhance technical knowledge sharing across teams.
  • Review, revise, and validate technical documentation as EL or VI standards and inspection reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Market our PV Quality services by overseeing creation of marketing materials 
  • Collaborate with internal sales and factory teams on technical negotiations and implementation plans for product testing and certification.
  • Stay informed on emerging PV technologies, application scenarios, and certification requirements to ensure products meet global market standards.
  • Travel to designated photovoltaic production sites (modules, cells, inverters, batteries) to conduct inspections, support technical evaluations, and strengthen collaboration with partners.
  • Perform additional technical and project-related duties as assigned to support the company’s strategic goals.

Your Profile:

  • Experience: Over 5 years of professional experience in the solar energy industry, with hands-on involvement in product testing, certification, and technical inspection within PV systems.
  • Technical Expertise: Proven knowledge of relevant PV standards (Electroluminescence for example), IEC standards, inspection methods, testing equipment, and environmental requirements for product safety and reliability.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of PV modules technologies (N-type TOPCon, HJT, IBC,...) manufacturing processes, degradation mechanism and current challenges.
  • Analytical Skills: Skilled in establishing calibration and inspection standards, analyzing inspection data, reviewing technical reports, and ensuring inspection quality and accuracy.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Photovoltaics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin, or any additional language is an advantage.
  • Personal Attributes: Detail-oriented, methodical, and committed to technical excellence, with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Communication: Clear and confident communicator with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Team Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, factory, and technical departments.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to PV manufacturing sites and partner facilities as required
