Vessel shipping rates have dropped significantly over the past months, providing some relief in a market where raw material inflation and supply chain constraints have put an upward price pressure on PV modules in 2022.

Common PV module shipping routes 40ft container prices:

  • Shanghai to Rotterdam,  pricing dipped 58% compared to one year earlier, and currently stands at $ 6,027 per 40ft container.
  • Shanghai to New York, pricing dipped 51% compared to one year earlier, and currently stands at $ 7,701 per 40ft container.
